Description
The tombchest of Thomas May Kelly and others is located 6.5 meters south of the south aisle of the Church of St. James. It was constructed in 1856 in memory of Thomas May Kelly, who died in 1856, his wife Mary, who died in 1875, and their daughters Elizabeth, who died in 1825, and another Elizabeth, who died in 1855. The tombchest is made of Delabole slate and features a moulded base and cornice, along with high-quality panelled and carved sides.
