SX 07 NW ST KEW ST KEW 5/210 Tombchest of Mary Grose 9m to south - of east end of chancel to Church of St. James GV II Tombchest. 1794. In memory of Mary, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Grose who died in 1794. Brick chest with slate lid. Inscription in upper and lower case, lettering with serifs and verse 'Weep not for me my Parents dear Because I'm gone so soon. The morning sun that shines so bright It often clouds at noon'.
