Description
This is a headstone from the 18th century located about 4 metres west of the southwest corner of the south porch of the Church of St Uvelus. It is made of slate and features a round-shouldered top. An angel is carved at the head of the stone, and the border has incised detailing. The headstone commemorates Francis Hellyar and his wife Frances, who both died in 1766, and includes a verse inscribed below their names.
