Description

The Old Manor is a 17th-century building located on Trewarveth Street in Newlyn. It is constructed of stuccoed rubble with a tarred plinth and features a steep slate roof with gable ends. The building is low and long, consisting of two storeys and three widely spaced windows, which are sashes without glazing bars. The doorway is adorned with a label mould and has granite jambs and a lintel. The door itself is a fielded panel design, with moulded stops that end in ball and diamond shapes. A large granite chimney stack is situated at one end of the building. The Old Manor, along with Nos 6 to 8, forms a group of buildings of architectural interest.
