Description

The gate piers and flanking walls located approximately 600 meters north of Godolphin House date from the late 19th century and incorporate earlier materials. Constructed from granite, the structure features monolithic piers, ashlar walls, and terminal piers topped with pyramidal caps and 17th-century copings. The design is symmetrical, with the gate piers flanked by serpentine walls and terminal piers positioned slightly forward on both the left and right sides. This entrance serves as the drive gate to Godolphin House.
