Description
The gate piers and gates at the rear entrance to The Manor Office, dating from around 1775, were likely built for John Blewett. They are constructed from granite ashlar and feature adjoining walls. The gate piers are square in shape and include plinths, moulded cornices on the entablature, and acorn finials. The wrought-iron gates are designed to ramp up towards the piers, with quatrefoils on the bottom rails, iron-like details on the lock rail, and fleurs-de-lys finials atop the top rail.
