Description

Little Trebisken Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built in the early to mid-19th century, with later 19th-century alterations and 20th-century additions. It is constructed of granite rubble, with the front featuring squared rubble and granite and brick dressings. The roof is hipped and covered with bitumenised slate, complete with ridge tiles. There are brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides.

The building has a double depth plan with a central entrance. The main rooms are located to the front left and right, each heated by an end stack. At the rear, there are shallow service rooms and a central stair hall. The exterior is two storeys high, set on a plinth, and has a symmetrical three-window front. All windows are 20th-century replacement four-pane sashes, set in their original openings, and feature segmental brick arches and granite keystones. The central entrance has a 19th-century four-panelled door flanked by pilasters and consoles, with an overlight above, also with a segmental brick arch and keystone.

To the left side of the building, there is a blind wall with a small single-storey 20th-century addition that is set back from the main facade. This addition has a nipped roof and features a half-glazed door and a window at the front. A similar addition is located on the right side, which includes a stable-type door and a window. At the rear, the ground floor has a 20th-century nine-pane window and a 19th-century twelve-pane sash window. On the first floor, there are 19th-century sixteen-pane sash windows on both the right and left sides, all with segmental brick arches and keystones. The central upper stair light features a round brick arch and keystones, with a 19th-century twelve-pane sash window that has radial glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
