Description
The gateway, coffin rest, and lamp post at the northeast entrance to the churchyard of the Church of St Cubert were built in the 19th century. The gateway and coffin rest are made of granite rubble and feature granite coping. Each side of the gateway has a rubble wall that is about 1.5 meters high and 3 meters long, topped with plain granite coping. A central rubble coffin rest runs the entire length of the wall, with a granite top and granite grid paving on either side. The lamp post is made of fluted cast iron and includes cross ladder rests and a lantern.
