Description
This group of five chest tombs, located approximately 3 meters southeast of the Church of Saint Wenappa in Gwennap, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The tombs feature granite ashlar sides, with three of them to the south having granite lids. One tomb to the north has a slate lid, while the one furthest north is missing its lid or it is buried under soil. Each chest is rectangular in shape and oriented from west to east. The second and third tombs from the south each have a central raised rectangular panel. The area is heavily overgrown with ivy, obscuring some details and inscriptions.
