Description
The Lobb monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 4 metres south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Sampson in Golant. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a stepped nowy head with an incised border and a primitive cherub's head with wings at the top centre. It commemorates John Lobb, who passed away in 1754.
