Description
The cross at the east end of the Church of St Stedian is a Grade II listed structure dating from the Pre-Conquest period. It is a tall granite wheel-headed monolith. One side features a Latin cross in relief, while the opposite side depicts the Crucifixion in relief. The cross is set into a 20th-century square granite base. It was relocated from Sewrah Mill in 1910 with the permission of Captain William Francis Tremayne of Carclew.
