Description
These are two attached cottages located approximately 8 meters north of Trewince House, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from painted slatestone rubble and feature a hipped scantle slate roof with an axial brick stack. Each cottage has a single room and a double depth plan, and they are two storeys tall.
The southeast front of the cottages shows that the original cottage on the left has two windows and a 20th-century glazed door in its original opening. It has 6-pane hornless sash windows. The right cottage, which has likely been converted from workshops, features a wide opening on the left with a 20th-century three-light casement window, a pointed doorway on the right, and a wide window opening on the first floor that may have been enlarged, now with a 20th-century transomed three-light casement. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages are included for their group value.
