Description
This barn, located 25 meters to the west of Penant Farmhouse, is a farmbuilding with an uncertain original use. It is constructed of stone rubble, featuring large ashlar quoins and a rag slate roof with hipped ends. The barn has a rectangular plan and a first-floor entrance at the front. The two-storey structure has an almost symmetrical facade, with brick steps leading up to the first-floor entrance near the center. There is a line of pigeon holes below the eaves that continues around the building. The barn holds group value in the farmyard opposite Penant Farmhouse.
