Description

Nos. 8 and 9 Broad Plain are a pair of houses built in the mid-18th century, although they were largely rebuilt in the late 20th century. The houses feature a render finish, painted brick, and a pantile roof. They have a double-depth plan and rise three storeys high with a three-window range. The exposed frames include 19th-century sash windows, and the original doorway has been replaced by a rear entrance. The interior has not been inspected, but the houses are included in the listing for their group value.
