Description
Stuart House, built in the early 19th century, is a house located on Tyndall's Avenue in Bristol. The building is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings and features a pantile hipped roof with gable stacks. It has a double-depth plan and is designed in a late Georgian style. The house has two storeys and a four-window range, with pilasters supporting a cornice and parapet that ramps down to the left-hand end. The entrance includes a moulded semicircular-arched doorway with a key and impost, a batswing fanlight, and a six-panel door. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes, with 6/6-panes above the door. The interior has not been inspected. The property also includes attached wrought-iron railings and gates in the front garden, which are topped with urn finials.
