Description
No. 22 Lower Park Row is an attached house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 19th century but was almost entirely rebuilt in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of brick, and the roof is not visible. It has a single depth plan and consists of two storeys with a one-window range. The façade features a left-hand half-glazed door and a plate-glass shop window. There are segmental brick arches above wide plate-glass sashes with margin panes set in flush frames, and the parapet has been rebuilt. Straight joints indicate where previous wider openings were located on each floor. The interior has not been inspected. The building may have origins from the mid-16th century but underwent significant reconstruction following extensive damage during wartime.
