Description
This is a gas lamp post located approximately 2 metres south-east of number 30 in Canynge Square, Clifton, Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a base and a shaft with a switch bar, topped with a flared glass lamp and a round finial. It is still lit by gas.
