Description

This is a mid 19th century gas lamp post located approximately 2 metres north-east of number 40 in Canynge Square, Clifton, Bristol. It is made of cast iron and features a base, a fluted shaft with a switch bar, and a square glass lantern topped with a round finial. The lamp is still lit by gas.
