Description
This is a gas lamp post located approximately 20 metres south of Number 2 on Canynge Road in Clifton, Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a moulded base and a fluted shaft, which includes a switch bar, topped with a square lantern. The lamp has been converted to electricity.
