Description
This is an arc lamp post located to the south of Auburn House, at the junction with Cecil Road in Bristol. It was designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a wide moulded base with panels that display the City crest. Above the base, there is a foliate bulb, and the shaft has a foliate top that curves into a half-circle with curly brackets supporting the lamp. The lamp has been relamped.
