Description

This is an arc lamp post located approximately 10 metres west of number 28 on Pembroke Road in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base that has a panel displaying the City crest. It is topped by a foliate bulb and has a shaft that leads up to a foliate top, which is turned over into a half-circle adorned with curly brackets supporting a lamp with a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
