Description

This is an arc lamp post located approximately 10 metres east of number 53 on Pembroke Road in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base with a panel that displays the City crest. It has a shaft that leads to a foliate top, which is turned over into a half-circle with curly brackets supporting a lamp adorned with a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
