Description
This is an arc lamp post made of cast iron, located approximately 5 metres north of No. 9 Caledonia Place in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor. The lamp post features a fluted base with a panel that displays the city crest. The shaft tapers upwards to a foliate top, which is turned over into a half-circle adorned with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
