Description

This is a cast-iron arc lamp post designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor, located approximately 3 metres east of Number 11 on Prince's Buildings in Clifton, Bristol. The lamp post features a fluted base with a panel displaying the city crest. It has a tapering shaft that leads to a foliate top, which is turned over into a half circle adorned with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp post has been relamped.
