Description

Numbers 1 to 7 Westfield Place, Clifton, is a terrace of seven houses built around 1840. They are rendered with limestone detailing, have brick party wall stacks, and a pantile roof. The houses are arranged with a double-depth plan and are built in a Late Georgian style, each being three storeys high with a basement, and featuring a one-window range. The crescent shape of the terrace is accentuated by pilaster strips rising to a parapet coping. The left-hand doorways have raised jambs, brackets supporting thin canopies, three-pane overlights, and doors with six flush panels. Most windows are 8/8-pane sashes; however, the windows at number 4 were replaced with metal windows before 1987. Number 6 has wrought iron, pointed arched, first-floor balcony railings. The interior was not inspected. The terrace is accompanied by attached wrought iron basement area railings.
