House. 1862. Probably by JA Clark. Limestone ashlar with lateral stacks and slate and pantile hipped roof. Double-depth plan. Italianate style. Each of 3 storeys and basement; 3-window range. The left side breaks forward, pilasters with ground-floor rustication, first-floor panel and second-floor incised decoration, to bracketed stone eaves. Steps up to central doorway with pilasters, panelled sides to overlight, cornices, and 2-panel door. 3-light bay to the left with panelled lintels and balustrades; semicircular-arched windows with foliate capitals, moulded archivolts and panelled aprons, paired on the left side. Basket balconies to rear windows. Stacks with cornices. INTERIOR not inspected.
