Description

Wood Lodge is a cottage located on Penpole Lane in Shirehampton, Bristol. It is built in a picturesque style and dates from the 18th century. The building is rendered with an ashlar stack and features a combination of tile and pantile roofing. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has a one-window range.

The left end gable has a rustic verandah over the door, which is now blocked. The front of the cottage includes a central semicircular bow with a tiled roof and three casement windows, along with an eaves dormer above. The gable and dormer are adorned with barge boards. The interior has not been inspected. Wood Lodge is one of the lodges associated with Kings Weston.
