Description

Park Lodge, now a cottage, was built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of roughcast work with brick gable end stacks and has slate and pantile roofs. The building follows a two-room, single-depth plan. It is a single-story structure with a three-window facade. A timber portico with four Doric columns stands in front of the road, featuring an oculus in its triangular pediment. This portico shelters a fully-glazed door, flanked by windows with 2/4-pane sashes. A taller, coped gabled block is attached to the rear, containing a single-story porch on the right-hand side. The interior has not been inspected. Park Lodge originally served as one of the lodges associated with Kings Weston House.
