Description
This milestone, located at the eastern corner of the junction of the drive to St Mark's Church and Lymington Road, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is a simple small stone structure with a curved head that indicates the mileage to Lymington. The milestone is part of a group that includes St Mark's Parish Church, its lychgate, and the War Memorial in the churchyard, along with Nos 179, 181, and the former boundary wall of Highcliffe Castle located opposite.
