Description

Merritown Farm House is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Parley Lane in Hurn. It is constructed of rubble and features a plain parapet and rusticated quoins. The roof is slate, and there are brick stacks. The house has three storeys and a basement, with a plain string course between the second and third storeys. Some of the windows are sashes and have projecting keystones. The doorway is notable for its rusticated jambs and entablature. Merritown Farm House and its barn are part of a group.
