Description
The Hazle monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 5 metres west of the south aisle of the Church of St. Mary in Stanton Drew. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top, plain corner pilasters, and a moulded plinth. There are oval inscription panels on the north and south sides, commemorating John Hazle, who died in 1718, along with other members of the family.
