Description
This early 19th-century house is located on Thomas Street. It was originally built together with No.1 Long Acre. The corner block is constructed of limestone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. The front, facing Thomas Street, has three windows and a central entrance, with a canted corner and three windows towards Long Acre. The left-hand window on the Long Acre front forms part of No.1 Thomas Street. The building is three storeys high and features a platband at the first-floor level, lintels, a cornice, and a parapet. The outer windows on both frontages are eight-over-eight sash windows, while the central ones are six-over-six. There are blind windows in the canted corner. Balconettes are above the first-floor windows. The front door is panelled and has a rectangular light above it, set within a plain recess. The interior has not been inspected. The building possesses group value due to its association with No.1 Long Acre.
