Description

The Grange is a house, likely dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar, with a rusticated ground floor, and has a 20th-century tiled roof behind a coped parapet. The building has a moulded cornice and extends to two storeys and attics. The facade is arranged with a 2:1:2 bay layout, with the central section projecting and topped by a pediment. Canted bay windows are present on the ground floor, featuring shouldered lintels and carved head keystones. There are five large-pane sash windows on the first floor. A projecting central porch features Ionic columns and a glazed door set within a panel decorated with masks and swags.
