Description
Acacia Lodge is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of Percy Place, part of a terrace of various houses. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a slate mansard roof with moulded stacks along the party walls. The building has a double depth plan and stands three storeys tall with an irregular arrangement of three windows. The exterior includes a parapet, a coved cornice, and two/two-pane sash windows with horizontal glazing bars on the second and first floors. The first floor has taller windows that open onto a canopied cast iron balcony, which dates from around 1840. The ground floor features plate glass windows, and to the left of the centre is a four-panel door, also from around 1840, which is glazed at the top and set within a reeded architrave adorned with foliate blocks in the upper corners. The mid-19th century heavy wrought iron area railings have a scroll design. The interior has not been inspected.
