Description

The building is a former oast house from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rough limestone ashlar with freestone dressings and features a hipped pantile roof, which has a pointed roof over a central ventilator. The structure has a square plan and includes a lower rear wing that also has a ventilator at the ridge, positioned above a four-light stone mullioned window at eaves level. The interior has not been inspected. Historically, this oast house was part of a former brewery complex on the site and is considered an unusual survival of such a building in this area.
