Description

The entrance piers and flanking wall to the east of the Parish Church of St John the Baptist were likely built in the late 1840s. They consist of four tall piers made of ashlar stone, each topped with cross gabled pinnacles. The two entrance piers feature blind traceried panels. There is a dwarf ashlar wall connecting the outer piers, which previously had railings.
