Description

14 High Street is an attached house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and features a late 19th-century shopfront. The main front is covered in colourwashed render with ashlar copings, and it has a pantile roof with a brick stack at the south end.

The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The front has a cornice and a blind parapet. The ground floor shopfront, which is from the late 19th century, includes panelled pilasters, brackets, full window glazing, and a central glazed door. The first floor has replacement windows from the 21st century.

Inside, there are no remaining original room layouts or notable architectural features. The building is part of a group with the adjacent No. 12, West End House, which is also listed at Grade II.
