Description
A group of six mid-19th century terrace houses on the north-east side of Church Street, Weston, similar in style to Victoria Place. The houses are built of limestone ashlar with a continuous slate roof and moulded stacks to the party walls. They have double depth plans and cellars. Each house is generally three storeys high, with a single-window range except for number 24, which has three. The terrace features a continuous coped parapet, cornice, second floor sill band, ground floor platband, and banded rustication to the ground floor (except number 24). The cornices sit on consoles, and moulded architraves rest on the platband, creating recessed aprons to the first-floor windows. There are two steps leading up to mostly four-panel doors. Number 24 is slightly set forward and has 20th-century windows and a door with overlight. Number 25 has 20th-century windows and a four-panel door. Number 26 has six-over-six pane sash windows without horns and a four-panel door. Number 27 has 20th-century windows and a four-panel door. Number 28 has 20th-century windows to the upper floors and plate glass sash windows to the ground floor. Number 29 features a 19th-century six-over-six pane sash window to the first floor and plate glass sash windows without horns to the remaining floors. The interiors have not been inspected.
