Description

This is a row of three houses located on the south side of High Street in Weston. The houses date from the early 19th century. Number 23 is now a shop. The houses are constructed of limestone ashlar, with double-pitched roofs covered in Roman tiles and concrete tiles. There are moulded stacks to the party wall located to the left of centre and to the right gable end.

The houses have a double depth plan and are two storeys in height. Number 23 has a two-window front, while numbers 24 and 25 share a three-window front. A coped parapet, cornice, and ground floor platband are present. Number 23 features 20th-century windows to the projecting shop and six-over-six-pane sashes to the first floor. Numbers 24 and 25 have a symmetrical facade with 19th-century six-over-six-pane sashes. The houses have paired six-panel doors; the door to number 24 is glazed to the top, while the door to number 25 has a narrow overlight with a timber lintel that spans the window to its right, above a blind window to the party wall. The interiors were not inspected.
