It is constructed of whitewashed rubble and features a pantile roof that is half-hipped towards the road, along with an end brick stack. The cottage has a double-depth plan and is two stories tall. It has a three-window range that is set at right angles to the road and is positioned below road level. The symmetrical south front includes a central door, and all windows are early 19th-century, 2-light wooden casements with sills.
