Description

The Mathematics Block, originally a dairy and laundry, is now part of the college. It dates from the late 17th century, was remodeled in the 19th century, and converted in the 1950s. The building is constructed from rubble with freestone and cast stone quoins and dressings, topped with a stone slate roof and ashlar stacks. It has two storeys and attics, featuring seven casement windows with three and two lights, all in ovolo moulded surrounds and beneath dripmoulds, with relieving arches on the ground floor. There are two wide plank doors in freestone surrounds with depressed heads and under relieving arches. A gabled projection is located at the rear.
