Description

Farmhouse. Built in the late 17th century, with alterations and extensions around 1800. The farmhouse is constructed of ashlar stone, set on a rubble plinth, with twin span slate roofs featuring coped raised verges and a moulded cornice. It is two storeys high, with cellars and 20th-century dormers in the attic. The facade has three bays, each with a two-light cross window set in bolection moulded surrounds, and a continuous string course above the first floor. A central porch is constructed of solid ashlar. Inside, the ground floor room on the right has a moulded wooden fireplace with a carved lintel and moulded frieze. The first floor room on the left has a fireplace with a bolection moulded surround.
