Description

The Old Rectory is a mid-to-late 18th-century rectory, later converted into a private house, with 19th-century additions and a late 20th-century restoration. The building is constructed of ashlar stone set on a rubble plinth, and has a reproduction stone slate roof concealed behind a coped parapet and a dentilled eaves cornice. It is arranged over two storeys, a basement and attics, with five hipped dormers. The symmetrical facade features five sash windows with horizontal glazing bars, separated by a plain band. A central panelled door is housed within a moulded architrave and topped with a pediment supported by brackets.
