Description

This pair of gatepiers, located at the junction with the road to Claverton Down, were formerly the entrance to the carriageway of the Old Manor House, which has since been demolished. They date from the early to mid 17th century and are constructed from square ashlar stone. Each gatepier stands approximately 12 feet high and features moulded caps topped with open obelisk finials.
