Description

Nos. 21 and 22 on The Batch are a pair of houses dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of rubble with freestone dressings, although No. 22 is painted. The houses feature a hipped pantile roof with coped raised verges and have two storeys with attics that include modern dormers. Each house has one window; No. 21 is fitted with large pane sashes from the 19th century, while No. 22 has glazing bar sashes. There are two adjacent modern doors. These houses are included for their group value.
