Description

Praesidium is a house that was originally a house and shop, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It has been altered, extended, and restored over time. The building is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a slate roof with coped raised verges. It stands two storeys tall, with four windows on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The ground floor windows are glazing bar sashes set in plain stone surrounds, along with a modern central one-storey bay window. The first floor has two-light casements with edge-roll moulded mullions and surrounds. The projecting wings to the right and rear are not of special interest.
