Description
The coach house to the south of Bassett House was built around 1836 for George Vivian of Claverton Manor. It is constructed of ashlar stone with slate roofs and consists of a single storey with attics. The building features an advanced and tall gabled central section, which includes a narrow segmental-headed coach entry adorned with rusticated voussoirs and a circular pitching eye above. Each outer wing has a single segmental-headed window, also with rusticated voussoirs, and there are two 20th-century sash windows on the first floor, along with a cill band. Additionally, pigeon nesting boxes are located on the outer parts of the structure.
