Description

Dolphin Cottage and Littlevale House are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from squared, coursed rubble with slate roofs and feature raised coped gables and end stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows, all of which are multi-pane cast iron casements. The outer windows are paired with a central mullion, while the inner ones are single lights. There are two central entrances; the one on the left has a hood supported by corbels, and the one on the right is set behind a gabled glazed porch. One window between the entrances has been altered to a narrow four-pane sash. At the rear, there is a central outshut that includes similar pointed single lights with interlocking tracery.
