Description
Bedford Hall, originally the Wesleyan Chapel, was built in 1839 and designed by architect Charles Hide. The building is finished in stucco and features a cornice and pediment with a circular opening in the tympanum. The windows are framed with architraves, and the central window has an additional pediment. The three large windows are wider at the bottom than at the top. Beneath the central window is a door, which shares the same surround and also slopes outwards, being wider at the bottom than at the top. Bedford Hall is part of a group that includes Nos 10, 12 and the Thieves Kitchen Public House on Warwick Street.
