Description

This sundial, located 30 metres south of Old Place in Lindfield, dates from the late 19th century. It features a stone or stone cruciform base, which includes a square pier adorned with a diamond motif and a cylindrical top that has spiralled latif inscriptions. The sundial displays inscriptions on three faces, reading "SUPER EST ECCE PERENNIS AMOR," and is topped with a bulging pelican.
